A leading automobile manufacturer in Karachi Pakistan were using excel to do the Material Requirements Planning. Their stocks were maintained on spreadsheets at warehousing locations and shopfloor storage locations resulting in stock inaccuracy. They hired us to assist in automating planning so that they could take care of stock discrepencies and assist in reducing stock outs.

After careful analysis and negotiation with vendors, we suggested them Orcale Advanced Supply Chain Planning for transactional data  and Forecast X for demand planning which seamlessly integrates with Orcale. 

It was a tough job since we were assigned a task to provide accurate master data for variety of materials with varying measuring and consumptions units.  The accuracy was important. The Go Live stage was tough since it was hard for untrained employees  at ease with the old way of planning and recording data to switch to new systems. 

We made it easy for them by making traning manuals which they could always refer to and practice on and helped get accustomed to the new systems. The new Forrcast X helped them stay on top of the forecasting game by automatically deploying the right model using historical data.
